Privacy and data protection
Where to find Calendia's Privacy Policy and subprocessor list, and how customer marketing consent is tracked.
Calendia handles personal data for your business and for the customers who book with you. This article points you to the key policies and where consent is tracked day to day.
Read the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data Calendia collects, how it's used, and when your business — rather than Calendia — is responsible as the data controller for your own customer records. Start here if you need to understand roles and responsibilities for a data protection request.
Check the subprocessor list
Calendia relies on a number of third-party providers to run the platform — hosting, email and SMS delivery, payments, and more. The Subprocessors page lists them, and separately lists the integrations your business connects under its own account, such as accounting or calendar sync, which are not Calendia subprocessors.
Customer marketing consent
When a customer opts in to marketing on your booking or website pages, Calendia records their consent status on their profile.
- Open a customer's profile from Customers.
- Look at the Marketing field — it shows Consented or Not consented.
Use this status, rather than assuming, before including a customer in a campaign. See Forms and consent for how disclaimer and consent forms work more broadly.
Requesting data export or deletion
Calendia doesn't currently have a self-serve button for exporting or deleting your account's data. If you need a copy of your data or want records deleted, contact Calendia support or reach out using the contact details on the Privacy Policy page, and the request will be handled from there.
