Set up Nexi POS terminals

Enter Nexi POS API keys and the terminal ID for a supported Nexi SmartPOS device.

Calendia offers Nexi POS for supported Nexi SmartPOS terminals such as P300 and N950. This is different from the separate Nets / BankAxept entry, which asks for a merchant ID and webhook secret. Select the entry matching the API access Nexi has enabled for your account; credentials from one entry cannot simply be used in the other.

Get the Nexi POS details

Ask Nexi or your integration partner for a POS API key and secret. Nexi's API documentation says keys are issued during partner onboarding. Find the terminal number in terminal settings, Poynt settings, or Nexi Online Tools. Nexi's identifier guide requires t- followed by ten digits; pad shorter numbers with leading zeroes. For example, 98532 becomes t-0000098532.

Connect and test

In Company settings > Payments, choose Nexi POS and save the API key and secret. Add each terminal manually using its formatted terminal ID; there is no terminal list to sync for this integration. Assign a terminal to the right Calendia location, send a test payment, and confirm its final result before taking payments from customers. Nexi POS supports refunds only when the original transaction reference is available.

If the terminal is missing or a payment request is rejected, check the ID format, key permissions, and terminal connectivity. A 403 or 404 can mean the key lacks access to that terminal; ask Nexi before replacing credentials or requesting another payment when the first outcome is uncertain.
