Set up Stripe payments

Stripe handles online booking payments and the Stripe in-person options in Calendia. Open Company settings > Payments and start the Stripe connection there. Complete Stripe's onboarding and verification prompts in the page Calendia opens, then return to Calendia and confirm the account is connected. Stripe may request business, representative and payout details before payments are enabled.

Choose the right Stripe option

For online bookings, choose the payment rule for each service in Calendia after the account is ready. Stripe Terminal is for compatible card readers. Activate its payment integration, sync the reader inventory and assign a default reader to each location if useful. Readers must belong to the connected Stripe account and a valid Stripe location. Tap to Pay on iPhone is available in the Calendia mobile app on a supported iPhone, with no separate reader. Activate that option only if your device and country are supported.

Neither Stripe Terminal nor Tap to Pay asks for your Stripe secret API key in Calendia. The connection is through Stripe Connect; do not paste a key into a different provider's credentials. If a reader does not appear, check its registration, power, network and location, then sync again. If checkout remains unavailable, return to Stripe onboarding and resolve any outstanding requirements. Check the connection and device status before accepting payments; avoid a real charge solely to test setup.
